U vindt hier een gitaarkalender voor België en Nederland, een blog met onze activiteiten ten voordele van jong gitaartalent én een overzicht van gitaarbouwers uit BE en NL. Iedereen kan gratis een bouwer aan de lijst of een evenement aan de kalender toevoegen.
Tuur Segers (BE) and Andrea Roberto (IT) are two of the most talented young guitarists in Europe.
Andrea Roberto, began studying guitar at age 4. At 9 years old, he was admitted to the U. Giordano Conservatory of Music under the tutelage of guitarist Sandro Torlontano, and graduated with honors at the age of 14 with his bachelor’s degree. He continued his studies with Aniello Desiderio at the Koblenz International Guitar Academy in Germany. He has received a variety of international awards including the David Russell Prize for young talented musicians at the Conservatory of Vigo (Spain), the Parkening Young Guitarist Competition at Pepperdine, and the Joven Promesa Prize at the VIII José Tomás—Villa de Petrer (Spain) International Guitar Competition. In 2010 he won the Valter Cococcia Prize, which goes to the youngest Italian conservatory student graduating with honors. In addition to this he has won prizes in numerous other competitions including the International Competition of the Adriatic in Pescara, the Fernando Sor International Competition in Rome, the International Competition of Mottola and the Stefano Strata International Competition of Pisa.
Tuur Segers developed an interest for the guitar at a young age recieven his first lessons from his father. He has performed, amongst other places, in the Koninklijke Muntschouwburg, in ‘Bozar’ Brussel, the Basilica Festival of Vlaanderen in Tongeren, the guitar festival in Petrer (Spain) and the Wereldomroep in Hilversum. Additionally, Tuur was selected to play in the “fiësta de la guitarra” in Tallinn and Parnu in Estonia. Aditionaly he played with the ‘Rubens strijkkwartet’ in the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, de Doelen in Rotterdam, the Philipszaal in Eindhoven and in Janine Jansen’s chamber music festival in Utrecht.
Tuur has won numerous prizes in competitions including: the ‘Dexia Classics’ in Brussels, the Andrés Segovia International Guitar Competition for Young Guitarists, the Anna Amalia International Guitar Competition for Young Guitarists, the Prinses Christina Concours, International Guitar Competition Brno, the Forum Gitarre Wien and the José Tomas International Guitar Competition in Petrer.
Tuur and Andrea are currently studying in Maastricht with Carlo Marchione.

De Singelijn Second’Air-school en gitariste Antigoni Goni nodigen u uit voor een bijzondere avond vol klassieke gitaarmuziek. De opbrengst gaat integraal naar de oprichting van de nieuwe school.
Victor Villadangos zal tijdens de masterclass doceren aan leerlingen vanaf de Hogere Graad en Conservatoriumstudenten.
Toehoorders betalen 20€ inclusief de lezing (start om 19u30) over de Argentijnse gitaar, gebracht door musicoloog Diego Orellana waarbij Victor Villadangos ook enkele werken brengt.

CONCERT “El Milonguero viejo” – Victor Villadangos. Programma met Argentijnse milonga’s van de componisten-gitaristen: Abel Fleury, Máximo Pujol, Jorge Cardoso en Carlos Moscardini en eigen bewerkingen van stukken van o.a. Astor Piazzolla, Mariano Mores en Lito Vitale.

Werken van o.a. Bach, Falconieri, Ravel, De Falla, Scriabin, Schumann, Berio, Fauré, Bartók, Isang Yun, Debussy
Je komt ogen en oren te kort. In de indrukwekkende Elektriciteitsfabriek bespelen acht topmusici de gehele ruimte. Een theatraal vormgegeven concert, met een spectaculair lichtontwerp. Van alle kanten klinkt muziek. Een kleurrijk programma met vuurcomposities uit meerdere eeuwen in wisselende bezettingen.
De Elektriciteitsfabriek voorziet een groot deel van Den Haag van energie. De turbinehal, tegenwoordig buiten gebruik, is voor concerten een fantastische ruimte en al vergeleken met een hip Berlijns podium. De zaal bestaat uit meerdere verdiepingen met doorkijkgaten. Op allerlei plekken duiken de musici op. Ze kunnen ook vlak naast jou gaan spelen. Er is geen afstand meer.
De musici creëren een sfeer waarin de muziek direct tot je spreekt. Ze spelen beroemde meesterwerken en verrassend repertoire dat je onverwacht kan raken, het vuur in je kan aanwakkeren. Late Night Fire is een evenement vol spannende verrassingen. Na afloop ontvang je de speellijst met alle stukken.
David Prins, een internationaal gevierde regisseur, verzorgt de dramaturgie en het beeld, de Aveq Group het lichtontwerp.
