U vindt hier een gitaarkalender voor België en Nederland, een blog met onze activiteiten ten voordele van jong gitaartalent én een overzicht van gitaarbouwers uit BE en NL. Iedereen kan gratis een bouwer aan de lijst of een evenement aan de kalender toevoegen.

The program of the recital will be a tribute to some of my favourite composers from the guitar repertoire.
Content of the program :
An ideal opening with Sainz de la Maza’s Campanas del alba : the daybreak and its bells anounce a romantic melody expressed by the tremolo technique, in which pure melancholy is healed by a wind of hope !
Follows the beautiful homage of Mexican composer Manuel Ponce to baroque music, with his Suite Antica, published at the time under the name of Weiss and written for Andrés Segovia, who wanted to enrich the guitar repertoire…behind the baroque forms, the latin lyricism and the vivacity of Ponce!
Italy and classical Luigi Legnani : virtuosity, fantasy, humour, panache! A priceless contribution to the development of guitar playing in the 19th century…
Albéniz and his penetrating Spanish melodies sound so well on the guitar, pure lyricism, passion and sensuousness.
Emilio Pujol, student of Tarrega, developed the harmonic language with his miniatures where his deep soul always pervades.
Impressionistic Asencio reveals the unlimited colours of the guitar in a suttle piece dedicated to his town…the sea, the serenity, the fire of folk Spanish dances through the prisma of the stunning harmonies of the master.
To end, Brazil and Costa Rica : energy, fantasy, groove, sensuousness, love, Garoto’s tender homage to his master…typically celebrating with the latin spirit the joy and wonder of being alive… let your 2018-2019 challenges be rich, successfull and vibrating!

Het Nederlands Mandoline Kamerorkest ‘Het CONSORT ‘o.l.v. Alex Timmerman geldt als een van `s werelds meest vermaarde mandoline ensembles. Met internationaal veelgevraagde solisten in hun geledingen als Sebastiaan de Grebber (hoofdvakdocent ArtEZ Conservatorium) en Ferdinand Binnendijk (oud-winnaar Prinses Christina Concours) staan zij altijd garant voor concerten met virtuositeit en muzikaliteit die de klank van mandolines en gitaren doet schitteren.
Op het programma deze avond staan de Holberg Suite van Edvard Grieg, de Folia Variaties van Antonio Vivaldi , Het Lied van de Japanse Herfst en Spaanse werken van Isaac Albeniz, Joaquin Malats en Mahnuel de Falla.
Hoogtepunt deze avond is de premiere van het Concerto Triplaris van de Franse componist Michel Bosc voor drie solisten en mandoline kamerorkest. De solisten in dit concert zijn Sebastiaan de Grebber (mandoline), Annegreet Rouw (harp) en Ferdinand Binnendijk (liuto cantabile).

Gitaarsalon de Oostvaarders gaat haar 5e seizoen in en het belooft opnieuw een serie vol zielsverwarmende gitaarmuziek te gaan worden. Het herfstconcert op 29 september wordt een ware beleving, met Emma Eveline (zang) & Pieter Nanne (gitaar) plus een ‘cameo’ optreden van Z.o.o. guitar duo.
Luciano Massa en Robin Van Heghe spelen een concert met vooral solo muziek voor viool en gitaar (Bach, Piazzolla, Yupanqui).
Op het einde sluiten zij dit concert met enkele duo nummers van Piazzolla, Guastavino en Granados.
Sander van Willigenburg speelt het ‘concierto de Aranjuez’ van Joaquin Rodrigo in de Bergsingelkerk te Rotterdam. Voor het volledige programma kijkt u op http://www.bergsingelkerk.nl/kalender/
