Welkom op de website van vzw, Gitaar, maar waar?. U vindt hier een gitaarkalender voor België en Nederland, een blog met onze activiteiten ten voordele van jong gitaartalent én een overzicht van gitaarbouwers uit BE en NL. Iedereen kan gratis een bouwer aan de lijst of een evenement aan de kalender toevoegen.
Tuur Segers (BE) and Andrea Roberto (IT) are two of the most talented young guitarists in Europe.
Andrea Roberto, began studying guitar at age 4. At 9 years old, he was admitted to the U. Giordano Conservatory of Music under the tutelage of guitarist Sandro Torlontano, and graduated with honors at the age of 14 with his bachelor’s degree. He continued his studies with Aniello Desiderio at the Koblenz International Guitar Academy in Germany. He has received a variety of international awards including the David Russell Prize for young talented musicians at the Conservatory of Vigo (Spain), the Parkening Young Guitarist Competition at Pepperdine, and the Joven Promesa Prize at the VIII José Tomás—Villa de Petrer (Spain) International Guitar Competition. In 2010 he won the Valter Cococcia Prize, which goes to the youngest Italian conservatory student graduating with honors. In addition to this he has won prizes in numerous other competitions including the International Competition of the Adriatic in Pescara, the Fernando Sor International Competition in Rome, the International Competition of Mottola and the Stefano Strata International Competition of Pisa.
Tuur Segers developed an interest for the guitar at a young age recieven his first lessons from his father. He has performed, amongst other places, in the Koninklijke Muntschouwburg, in ‘Bozar’ Brussel, the Basilica Festival of Vlaanderen in Tongeren, the guitar festival in Petrer (Spain) and the Wereldomroep in Hilversum. Additionally, Tuur was selected to play in the “fiësta de la guitarra” in Tallinn and Parnu in Estonia. Aditionaly he played with the ‘Rubens strijkkwartet’ in the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, de Doelen in Rotterdam, the Philipszaal in Eindhoven and in Janine Jansen’s chamber music festival in Utrecht.
Tuur has won numerous prizes in competitions including: the ‘Dexia Classics’ in Brussels, the Andrés Segovia International Guitar Competition for Young Guitarists, the Anna Amalia International Guitar Competition for Young Guitarists, the Prinses Christina Concours, International Guitar Competition Brno, the Forum Gitarre Wien and the José Tomas International Guitar Competition in Petrer.
Tuur and Andrea are currently studying in Maastricht with Carlo Marchione.

Vlamo gitaardag – Stedelijk Conservatorium Mechelen
Op zondag 10 februari 2019 organiseren Vlamo en het Stedelijk Conservatorium Mechelen (Melaan 3-5, 2800 Mechelen) de dertiende editie van ’Con Trastes’.
Op deze dag staat de gitaar in al haar facetten centraal. Voor elk niveau en elke leeftijd zijn er aangepaste workshops en masterclasses.
Na onder andere Johan Fostier, Roland Broux, Aram Van Ballaert, Carlo Marchione, Antigoni Goni en Raphaella Smits hebben we ook dit jaar een grote naam op de affiche: Antoon Vandeborght geeft in de namiddag masterclasses gitaar voor leerlingen vanaf vierde graad.
Iedereen kan ook passief, als toeschouwer, de masterclasses bijwonen.
De volgende workshops staan eveneens op het programma:
- “ Gitaarensemble” (vanaf graad 3 en volw.) – Marleen Casteele en Inti De Maet. Creatie van ‘Al sol’ van Marleen
- Slag-en plectrumtechniek (vanaf graad 3 en volw.) – Bert Van Reeth
- “Arrangement moderne muziek voor gitaar”(vanaf graad 3 en volw.) – Maarten Vandenbemden
- “Folkgitaar” (vanaf graad 3 en volw.) – Bert Van Reeth
- “Klankschilderingen (tot en met graad 2) – Willy Bauweraerts
- “Suzukimethode op gitaar” – Eveline Vaernewyck
- “Gitaarclinic” (voor iedereen) – Sander Torfs
Antoon Vandeborght sluit de dag af met een concert dat voor iedereen toegankelijk is.

Concerttickets
Concerttickets: 10 euro (gratis voor kinderen t.e.m. 12). Voor deelnemers aan de workshops is het concert gratis.

Zaterdag 14 oktober 2023 is het Festival Gitaar aan de Sluis in Leidschendam. Een hele dag boordevol gitaarmuziek voor luisteraars én spelers van alle leeftijden.
