U vindt hier een gitaarkalender voor België en Nederland, een blog met onze activiteiten ten voordele van jong gitaartalent én een overzicht van gitaarbouwers uit BE en NL. Iedereen kan gratis een bouwer aan de lijst of een evenement aan de kalender toevoegen.
Izhar Elias geeft een masterclass. Deelnemers en toehoorders kunnen de volgende dag gratis naar de “Muzikale Rondleiding” in de Stadsgehoorzaal (om 14:30u).

Tuur Segers (BE) and Andrea Roberto (IT) are two of the most talented young guitarists in Europe.
Andrea Roberto, began studying guitar at age 4. At 9 years old, he was admitted to the U. Giordano Conservatory of Music under the tutelage of guitarist Sandro Torlontano, and graduated with honors at the age of 14 with his bachelor’s degree. He continued his studies with Aniello Desiderio at the Koblenz International Guitar Academy in Germany. He has received a variety of international awards including the David Russell Prize for young talented musicians at the Conservatory of Vigo (Spain), the Parkening Young Guitarist Competition at Pepperdine, and the Joven Promesa Prize at the VIII José Tomás—Villa de Petrer (Spain) International Guitar Competition. In 2010 he won the Valter Cococcia Prize, which goes to the youngest Italian conservatory student graduating with honors. In addition to this he has won prizes in numerous other competitions including the International Competition of the Adriatic in Pescara, the Fernando Sor International Competition in Rome, the International Competition of Mottola and the Stefano Strata International Competition of Pisa.
Tuur Segers developed an interest for the guitar at a young age recieven his first lessons from his father. He has performed, amongst other places, in the Koninklijke Muntschouwburg, in ‘Bozar’ Brussel, the Basilica Festival of Vlaanderen in Tongeren, the guitar festival in Petrer (Spain) and the Wereldomroep in Hilversum. Additionally, Tuur was selected to play in the “fiësta de la guitarra” in Tallinn and Parnu in Estonia. Aditionaly he played with the ‘Rubens strijkkwartet’ in the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, de Doelen in Rotterdam, the Philipszaal in Eindhoven and in Janine Jansen’s chamber music festival in Utrecht.
Tuur has won numerous prizes in competitions including: the ‘Dexia Classics’ in Brussels, the Andrés Segovia International Guitar Competition for Young Guitarists, the Anna Amalia International Guitar Competition for Young Guitarists, the Prinses Christina Concours, International Guitar Competition Brno, the Forum Gitarre Wien and the José Tomas International Guitar Competition in Petrer.
Tuur and Andrea are currently studying in Maastricht with Carlo Marchione.

De Italiaanse mandolinist Mauro Squillante komt op zaterdag 1 juli naar Heerde voor een dag met `s ochtends masterclasses, `s middags een workshop en `s avonds een gratis toegankelijk concert.
`s Ochtends begint hij in De Heerd bij Cultuurplein Noord Veluwe met masterclasses voor mandolinisten en gemengde tokkelensembles. Deze zijn vrij te beluisteren voor geïnteresseerden.
De middag zal in het teken staan van ensemblespel. In een workshop voor mandolinisten, gitaristen en andere getokkelde instrumenten zal Squillante de deelnemers, met assistentie van Sebastiaan de Grebbe en Alex Timmerman, coachen en leiden in samenspel en uitvoeringspraktijk.
Het resultaat hiervan zal `s avonds gepresenteerd worden als onderdeel van het concert van Mauro.
Deelname aan de workshop kost €15 en is geschikt voor alle niveaus en alle leeftijden.

Het prachtige Concert voor twee mandolines (RV 532) in kwintetzetting van de barokmeester Antonio Vivaldi, het Quintetto in D (met de bekende Fandango ) van de Italiaan in Spaanse dienst Luigi Boccherini en het virtuoze Concierto a quatro strumenti con chitarra van de Italiaanse componist/mandolinst en instrumentenbouwer Raffaele Calace.
Dat zijn de drie pijlers van het programma dat Sebastiaan de Grebber (mandoline), Pauline Verschuren-Ulderink (mandoline), Ruth Rouw (mandola), Ferdinand Binnendijk (Liuto Cantabile) en Tom Edskes (gitaar) onder de naam Castalia Mandolin Quintet deze avond brengen in de sfeervolle St.Janskerk in Hoorn op Terschelling.
Het befaamde ‘Fandango’ kwintet van Boccherini, het prachtige Concerto voor twee mandolines van Antonio Vivaldi en Italiaanse Bel Canto staan op het programma in dit koffieconcert door het Castalia Mandoline Quintet.
Het Castalia Mandolin Quintet bestaat uit:

Ferdinand Binnedijk (liuto cantabile) en
Tom Edskes (gitaar)
De 5 leden van het Castalia Mandoline Quintet kennen elkaar uit het Nederlands Mandoline Kamerorkest Het CONSORT o.l.v. Alex Timmerman. Een internationaal vermaard mandolinegezelschap waarmee ze .o.a. al optraden in Italië, Frankrijk, New York (V.S) en in de zomervan 2017 bij het Fringe Festival in Edinburgh.
